A part of the Clinton Global Initiative, the Plastic Disclosure Project seeks to bring awareness to the situation of plastic waste and its impact on marine life and the environment. Apparently, some 90% of plastics do not get recycled, which is why we have floating islands of garbage in the middle of the pacific ocean.
