To celebrate the return of Mad Men tonight, I thought it appropriate to share this track from The Strokes’ latest album, Comedown Machine. ‘Some Call It Fate, Some Call It Karma’ evokes a late 60s early 70s rock sound with hints of electronic instrumentation and even a few elements of soul thrown in for extra spice.

What I imagine when hearing this song is the era the show Mad Men is currently facing, the early 1970s, which were a time of enormous change and upheaval in the United States.
