South Korean media outlets expect a new North Korean nuclear test to occur any day now. Tensions between North Korea, the United States, and South Korea were exacerbated recently by the conducting of joint, annual drills between US and South Korean forces. Kim Jong un’s behavior of late has much of the world concerned about the stability of the situation in East Asia, with many fearing the DPRK’s brinksmanship could inadvertently lead to war.
