While we’ve been playing “The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds,” we couldn’t help but remember a PS3 game from three years ago that reminded us of the original NES/Famicom Nintendo classic, the original The Legend of Zelda. 3D Dot Game Heroes is published by Atlus, a company that was recently acquired by Sega (combining, in effect, two of our favorite video game publishing houses in one move), and is a tribute to the 8-bit style and quest structure of the original classic Zelda. If A Link Between Worlds has you feeling nostalgic like us, but still yearning for something new and different in an off-the-wall kind of way, look no further than 3D Dot Game Heroes.
